Have you had your America O's today?

It would seem that with all the other garbage we are fed from DC these days, and right along with the pink slime they want to feed our children comes this in an article from buzzfeed. Unsurprisingly, Uncle Comrade Sam thinks the idea that it is a bad thing for the US government to feed the public misinformation and propaganda is outdated. That's right, Big Brother is getting ready to drop all the pretexts, and make up our minds for us. The bill has already been written and passed the house Friday afternoon.

In an amendment to the latest defense authorization act:
"The tweak to the bill would essentially neutralize two previous acts—the Smith-Mundt Act of 1948 and Foreign Relations Authorization Act in 1987—that had been passed to protect U.S. audiences from our own government’s misinformation campaigns."  

I am reminded of a short poem from Lewis Carroll:
